“Watch, o Lord, with those who wake, or watch, or weep tonight, and give Your angels and saints charge over those who sleep. Tend Your sick ones, o Lord Christ. Rest Your weary ones. Bless Your dying ones. Soothe Your suffering ones. Shield Your joyous ones, and all for Your love’s sake. Amen.”

Prayers for the Day

  • Pray for the poor and oppressed that they will know they are not forgotten by God and that they will be given justice. Pray for an end to injustice in all its forms. Pray against oppression based on race, gender, poverty or any other form injustice takes.
  • Pray for three who do not have a personal relationship with Jesus.
  • Pray for your personal request.
