Group Leader Email: 12.5.19 

December has arrived! This means it’s time to talk about the next season of groups.  If you have a brand-new group that started up for the Legacy series, I’d love to encourage your group to continue together.  I have lots of details for you included in this email so stick with me until the end!

A few dates to put on your radar:

• January 10^th: Spring 2020 Group Launch Forms are due!  As a reminder, if your group is running for the spring, you need to fill out a launch form.  If your group is no longer planning on meeting, let me know ASAP.  You can find the launch form here and fill it out any time before January 10^th.
• January 17^th: All-Church Volunteer Appreciation Night!  You’ll be getting a formal invite in the mail this month, but you can be some of the lucky few to save the date!  All of our volunteers are invited out for a comedy night at Jacob’s Well as a thank you for all you do.  There will be good food, good laughs and lots of prizes to win.
• January 18/19 & 25/26: Spring 2020 Group Launch during weekend services.  This is when groups with open space will be made available for sign-up.
• February 2-8: First week of Groups post-Group Launch

Groups Announcements:

• This spring, we will not have an all-church study to go through together.  However, I am putting together a list of suggested studies that align with weekend message series for the spring.  Look for an email from me next week!
• We have updated our Group Leader Service Covenant this semester.  I’ve attached it to this email -- so check your inbox for a copy so you can read the revised version. Every group leader will need to turn this in.  You can turn it in by printing at home and bringing it in, picking one up at the Connection Center on the weekends, or if you're tech-savvy, turn it in electronically. 
• Support Groups: As a reminder, Cory Schneider is your go-to contact person about your groups. You will, however, need to fill out a launch form and re-sign your service covenants.
