WHAT TO EXPECT

Builders for Christ is a challenging and rewarding local missions opportunity that Is available for anybody ages 16 and up.  You can expect to work hard, learn skills, develop lifelong relationships, be challenged and refined in your faith, and to have fun. The goal is to bless the local community by providing a state-of-the-art house of worship for a local congregation so that they can grow and continue to impact their community for Christ. 

FAQ

• Do I need to be a skilled carpenter?  No, you just need a willingness to serve and learn.  Opportunities are also available in the kitchen if building is not your thing.
• Do I need to bring equipment?  No, all the equipment needed to complete the build will be provided by builders for Christ. You are welcome to bring tools if you desire to.
• Do I need to be on-site the whole time?  It is strongly recommended that you come the whole week as this helps BFC meet its goal of building a whole church in 16 weeks.  It is also very helpful in developing relationships with other teams.  That being said, if you have to miss a day please still sign up 4/5 of a BFC experience is still well worth it!!!
• Can I bring my family?  BFC building age requirement is 16 due to this being an active build site.  There is something to do for everyone in the family who is 16 and up.
