Welcome to Jacob’s Well

Hi, I’m Paul Berthiaume, Lead Pastor here at Jacob’s Well. On behalf of our staff, overseers and church family, we’re so glad you’re checking us out. Whether you’re exploring faith for the first time or looking for a church to call home, we want you to know—there’s a place for you here!

Who We Are

For more than 25 years, Jacob’s Well has been a community of real people walking through real life together. Our vision is simple and steady: “Wherever we are on our journey, we will take steps together to know and become like Jesus.” Together, we’re learning to follow Jesus in our everyday lives, build meaningful relationships and share His love with the people around us.

What We’re Experiencing

We’re seeing people take meaningful steps toward healing, stronger relationships and a deeper faith. Our Core Classes, including Embodied and other opportunities throughout the year, help connect biblical truth with everyday life. Whether you’re just beginning to explore faith or have followed Jesus for years, there’s room to learn and grow here.

We also share part of our campus with Venture Academy, a fully accredited K–8 Christian school serving the Chippewa Valley. This partnership reflects our commitment to supporting families and helping the next generation grow in faith, learning and leadership.

Find Support and Hope

You don’t have to walk through life’s difficult seasons alone. Our recovery and support ministries offer opportunities to find encouragement, practical help and community as you navigate grief, divorce, addiction, relationship struggles and other challenges. With Celebrate Recovery relaunching this fall and support available through several groups, we’re making space for honest conversations, healing and hope in Jesus.

Ministry for All Ages

Children and students have a place to belong and grow at Jacob’s Well. JW Kids serves children from nursery through fifth grade, with Bridge 6 for sixth graders at 9am Sundays. Greenhouse YTH on Wednesday nights helps 7th–12th graders build friendships and a faith of their own. Our Young Adults ministry and 60 Plus group offer community and opportunities to keep growing through different seasons of life.

Take Your First Steps

If you’re new here—or have been attending for a while and want to get connected—First Steps at Jacob’s Well is a great place to begin. This three-session class will help you meet others, learn what our church is all about and discover how you can take your next steps with confidence.

What's Ahead

As we look ahead to all God has for us in the months and years to come, we're living out a culture of serving and giving faithfully, not out of obligation, but as acts of worship and trust in the God who provides. We believe God uses everyday steps and acts of stewardship to grow us and impact others for His kingdom. This fall, we will invite you to be part of something bigger than ourselves, with the A Gift to the Valley initiative in November.
